ShortMax synopsis
They called eight-year-old Annie a jinx—until the night her foster parents tried to sell her. Fleeing barefoot through a Brooklyn blizzard, she discovers a missing-child notice bearing her own face: she may be the long-lost heiress of New York’s most feared mafia family. When ruthless Don Vincent Moretti brings her home, a shocking truth emerges—Annie brings impossible luck to anyone who shows her kindness, and ruin to those who hurt her. As buried betrayals surface, one terrified little girl may become the lucky charm that saves an empire.
