Reporter Nina successfully gains the trust of crime lord Leon Mann and takes him down. Three months later, Nina encounters Leon again at a TV network's gala, only to find he has transformed into Chase Kane, with a spotless reputation. Through investigation, Nina confirms that Chase is indeed Leon and suspects he seeks revenge. As she navigates this elaborate deception, Nina feels dwarfed by the cunning Leon, but with no other choice, she must risk everything for a desperate counterattack.
