After I Let Him Go

GoodShort synopsis

After losing her parents at thirteen, Ivy Carter was taken in by the Hall family — and fell for Alexander, ten years her senior. In her past life, she believed his secretary's word, sabotaged his engagement to Lillian, and lost everything — her child, her future, her life. Reborn, she takes three bullets for him one last time, then walks away. She accepts the Sinclair family's marriage proposal, leaves New York for California, and finally finds love with Ryan Sinclair, who has adored her since childhood. This life, she won't wait for anyone to look back.
