NetShort synopsis
General Gu Sinan stages “rescues” and assassination plots to force Empress Ye Qingyao to abdicate. Fleeing, she’s saved by scholar Wang Fugui, then stuck as a fake magistrate in Lian’an County. Besieged and infiltrated by paid assassins, they must outwit Gu Sinan before his own deputy turns.
